We are looking to recruit an organised and experienced person with writing skills to help our busy publications team to undertake post-excavation work. This will include stratigraphic analysis, post-excavation assessments, updated project designs, research designs, and the writing, editing and compilation of excavation reports and publication texts.

Applications would be welcomed from those with demonstrable experience in current developer-led archaeological practice, in the undertaking of post-excavation analysis and of writing archaeological reports to publication standard. The successful candidate will require commercial fieldwork experience, excellent leadership and communication skills, an extensive knowledge of British archaeology, the ability to manage a demanding work schedule and a strong commitment to CPD. The capacity to mentor staff in post-excavation techniques and report writing and to use archaeological databases, AutoCAD and or ArcGIS software would be advantageous. Membership of the Chartered Institute for Archaeologists at least ACIfA, and preferably MCIfA, level is also desirable.
