Cotswold Archaeology is marking its 25th anniversary on 17 March with a series of events over the coming year.

To celebrate twenty-five years of archaeological discovery and publication, we will be posting twenty-five highlights on the CA website every two weeks starting on our birthday.

The highlights will be a mix of finds, places of discovery and important publications, written by the archaeologists and specialists involved and will be accompanied by photographs. The finds span all periods of human prehistory and history, from the palaeolithic to the Great War and include weaponry, tools and touching mementos. The sites highlighted come from all three of our regions.

Follow the link from the menu from Monday 17 March to see the 25 highlights and keep an eye on our News page!

Follow us on Twitter using #25CAhighlights to see the highlights as they are posted and on Facebook
