Cotswold Archaeology is one of the largest suppliers of professional archaeology and heritage services in the UK. With over 350 staff – and offices in Cirencester, Milton Keynes, Needham Market, and Andover – we provide an expert service for both private and public sector clients.

Established in 1989, we have earned a reputation for excellent delivery, in-depth project management, and value for money, which makes us the number-one supplier of choice for archaeological and heritage needs.

In addition to being a limited company, we are a registered charity committed to public benefit. We engage communities through volunteering, education and outreach, and disseminate our findings through academic publications, public reports and digital content.

We believe the best way to discover archaeology is by getting hands-on. From volunteering and student work placements to public talks and other events, we offer opportunities to build skills, go behind the scenes and share in real discoveries.

We are a Registered Organisation with the Chartered Institute for Archaeologists (CIfA), and all of our work is carried out in line with nationally recognised professional Standards and Guidance.
