Summary:
This report presents findings from the archaeological evaluation carried out by the Cotswold Archaeological Trust in advance of the P. R. C Redevelopment at Clayfurlong Grove, Kemble. The work was commisioned by Cotswold District Council and carried out between 23rd August and 8th September 1989. Heavily mixed and cultivated land with mainly residual material surviving. Five medieval sherds, four Roman sherds, four late Neolithic to early Bronze Age flint flakes and fourteen animal bones were recoverd from this site.
