Gender Pay Gap Report

Cotswold Archaeology recognises that we have some work to do to close our Gender Pay gap, but we are committed to this goal. We have seen our figures improve over the last three years and we must work to make sure that this trend continues.

There are challenges both internal to CA and externally in the sector, and whilst not all areas are within our control we must continually examine our practices to ensure we are not putting in place any barriers to closing the gap further. As an employer we commit to the following actions:

  • Challenge ourselves to support flexible working requests from areas of the organisation that have not, in the past, seen this as an option
  • Report regularly on our recruitment activities to demonstrate the balance of genders at each stage of the process
  • Support senior female leaders through developing mentoring skills and utilising the group as a forum for improving in this area
