Volunteer archaeologists start dig at Greyfriars in Gloucester

A team of amateur archaeologists have begun digging at Greyfriars Priory in Gloucester.

The excavation is believed to be the first in Gloucestershire to use volunteer diggers, under the supervision of Cotswold Archaeology.
