The Cotswold Archaeology field team is currently looking for field archaeologists of all levels, from Trainees to Experienced Archaeologists, to join our teams in Cirencester, Milton Keynes, and Needham Market.

We recently reviewed our pay scales, and we’re proud to offer some of the highest salaries in the sector, ensuring that our colleagues feel recognised for their valuable contributions. All staff received a 4.5% pay increase in April, well above the current inflation rate. And from 1st September, we implemented further pay increases for our Fieldwork, Publications, and Consultancy departments, including the roles for which we’re currently recruiting.

We know that financial stability matters, and we’re committed to supporting our team through cost-of-living challenges with pay awards and bonuses – it’s our way of saying ‘thank you’ for the dedication and expertise our colleagues bring to projects like Sizewell, the A417, and the multitude of smaller but just as archaeologically exciting sites we’re working on, day-in, day-out.
