Bronze finger ring
description
Complete ring with oval hoop, expanding to faceted shoulder and thickened bezel.
The bezel is set with a blue/green glass paste intaglio at the centre of which is an impressed ring and dot motif.
The ring falls within Henig’s Type XII and part of his ‘trinket’ grouping in use in the 3rd century and probably later.
