Buckle with studs
description
A copper alloy buckle with iron buckle plate.
Inlaid with silver wire in an in-filled double border (ladder pattern) and, internal to this, a regular pattern (four rows of four) of round-sectioned gold studs.
The buckle was located near the left shoulder of the in situ burial skeleton, although it is possible that it was disturbed (and possibly re-placed) from the earlier burial.
