Author: Andrew Mudd and Rob Masefield
The expansion of Daventry International Rail Freight Terminal near Crick, Northamptonshire, led to a series of archaeological investigations examining over 178 hectares of land. This included the uncovering of one of the largest Iron Age settlements in the country, making Crick probably the oldest known village in Northamptonshire. This booklet describes the remarkable discoveries made over the last 20 years.
