The event will feature a finds display and talk by Cotswold Archaeology about last year’s community excavation in search of the philosopher’s 16th/ 17th century family home.

Ed McSloy (Finds Manager, Cotswold Archaeology) will be on hand to chat at a pop‑up display of finds from last year’s excavations at the United Reformed Church, carried out in the search for the family home of Thomas Hobbes from 10am - 4pm.

Thomas Hobbes: 'The Dig'
Liam Wilson (Project Officer, Cotswold Archaeology) will be presenting a talk about the dig, the finds and the location of Thomas Hobbes' family home from the 16th/ 17th century.
