Exciting news: Boxford Community archaeological project has started! Cotswold Archaeology Project Officer Matt Nichol has supervised the first trench opened up this morning (see below). This is the first step on an exciting 3 year project being run by a partnership made up of the Boxford History Project, Berkshire Archaeology Research Group and Cotswold Archaeology, with funding awarded by the Heritage Lottery Fund.
