Cotswold Archaeology is pleased to announce that it is launching a marine archaeology service in March 2012 to deliver both desk-based and survey functions. This is a natural progression, building on our existing expertise in assessing the cultural heritage effects of proposed developments. The marine team will operate out of both Cirencester and a new office in Andover, Hampshire, which will be opening shortly. We will be announcing new appointments to the marine team over the next few weeks.

It has been a longstanding aspiration of the company to develop a marine archaeology capability, and I am thrilled that we have now achieved this.
