The next Cotswold Archaeology monograph, ‘The Towns of Roman Britain: The Contribution of Commercial Archaeology since 1990’ was launched at the University of Reading on 14th April 2015.
The volume is edited by Neil Holbrook and Michael Fulford, and presents a series of papers from leading experts in the field of Roman Archaeology on the contribution that developer-funded archaeology has made to our knowledge of the major towns of Roman Britain. The monograph is one of the principal products of a major research project – Realising the Research Potential of Developer-Funded Roman Archaeology in Britain – which Cotswold Archaeology has been working on in collaboration with the Department of Archaeology at the University of Reading since 2011.
